At the end of the day what will it really matter. Have you ever asked yourself that question? We all should and evaluate what is really important in life. Will it matter how much money you acquired, how big your home is or what car you drove I think not. In the end the things that will be important will be who’s life you have impacted, how did you treat others, were you a kind caring person.
I feel blessed to have been raised by very loving parents and a family that have taught me life comes with responsibilities. You are to assist where you can, treat others with the respect you would like and no matter what the day hands you do not take it out on others.
As a business owner for the past 25 years I have had the opportunity to meet many young people. Recently we had the privilege of attending 2 past employees weddings. Alice and Little Jen as seen in this Halloween photo. Alice was the 80’s, Little Jen was the 90’s. While at the wedding each bride took time to remind us of the impact we have had on the choices they have made in their professional to personal life.
As they compliment us we are humbled. I hope they realize the impact their words have on us. I believe if you have the chance to help others grow as people take it. After returning home I retrieved this two letters from the brides written may years ago and I am reminded it does matter at the end of the day how your life has impacted others.
