The city that never sleeps ALWAYS welcomes you. Born in Staten Island, NY it is my hometown. I have a special place in my heart for everything NY. I love to ride the train, walk the streets or just sit in Central park and watch all the activity. I remember my father {former NYC Police Officer} teaching me how to drive in NYC. He would say if you can drive in New York you can drive anywhere. Did you know streets go one way avenues another I will never understand when someone says they got lost in NYC. Just follow the numbers. Visiting colleges in the art district and eating dinner from the automat. New York will leave a permanent tattoo on your heart.
New York attracts over 50 Million visitors per year. The city is best known for its incredible Museums, Parks, Zoos, Theater and Fashion district. No matter what nationality of food you would like to experience you will find it in the Big Apple. Home to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island both a beacon of Freedom for so many.
My favorite memories would have to be:
- Broadway any day any time, walking through Times Square and Dinner at Gramercy Tavern
- A ride on the Circle Line. Seeing the sights the city has to offer from the water is amazing.
- Little Italy, China Town, SoHo, The Village – All wrapped in one package . Walk it all in one afternoon
- Rockefeller Center – The lighting of the tree, Saks store window displays and morning show summer concerts
