Beginnings are Scarry

Beginnings are scary I think we would all agree. Remember that first day of high school or maybe that new job didn’t you feel overwhelmed? I know I did but as time past you learned the layout of the school and the tasks you had to do got easier and easier plus they started taking less time. I relate all this to SOCIAL MEDIA. It can be overwhelming at first but will become an opportunity in no time. You will be able to reach millions with a click of the mouse. The key is to limit your time on social media you are there to “Stir the Pot”. Create conversation and curiosity. By spending only 20 minutes a day you will be able to accomplish your mission if you make the best use of your time by creating an action plan. Here are a few tips to remember on your daily journey through your social media network when posting;

•Listen – Scan the day’s posts, listen to what people are talking about

•Engage – Look for opportunities to interact

•Create – Create a content based on your audience

•Respond – Check your messages and respond to posts

•Friend – Make at least 2-4 new friends each week

Remember every post should have a purpose to encourage your friends or fans to share your content, comment, or Like. The best times to post are weekdays at 11am, 3pm, and 7pm ET.
Beginnings are scary. Endings are usually sad, but it’s what’s in the middle that counts. So, when you find yourself at the beginning, just give it time. It will get easier and easier. Make it a mission to try adding on a new task every week such as Pinterest, Blogging, Tweeting or one of the many other social networks to your portfolio. It is all based on trial and error. Look at the internet like you would a playground you can explain how to swing on a swing but until you actually experience it yourself and feel your hair blow in the wind you just dont know. You have to actually try clicking around and see where the tabs lead you may be surprised how good you actually are. Dont be afraid you can not break social media! Have fun but always remember be professional.
Do you love the CUBE? If they love social media they will love the social media cube!

I have been a business owner for over 25 years but can say for the first time; “I own my business it doesn’t own me.” I have traded in my Brick and Mortar for a Click and Order. This gives me financial and time freedom. My business is operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no employees. I wake up when I am done sleeping and am able to work anywhere in the world there is a WiFi connection.
