B-All you can B! B-FABulous

Sometime there are those that stand out. It is because of an action they have set in motion. A thought they acted on. From that one second in time life can forever be changed for an individual, a community, a country and even the world. From as simple as acknowledging someone with a post on social media to creating an event around there accomplishments. It is the thoughts of others that make the effort of one so powerful.

Twenty-One nominees took center stage to be recognized for the work they do within the blogging world. Keeping us updated on the latest fashion trends, beauty tips, community events and sights around town. These individuals take action on there passions to assist others in different fields of interest. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees of the 2013 B-Fab awards. Thank you for the opportunity to meet you all.

All of this would not be possible without the dedication of one individual Tiffani Gatlin. Her dream of uniting the community through a digital magazine to hosting the first ever bloggers B-Fab Awards ceremony has come to fruition. The event was creative, informative and flawless. The connections made from vendors to attendees will forever change the relationships within the community.

Vendors from Customized Cosmetics, Hair care, Local Chef,  Natural Soaps, Runway Photo shoots, Interactive Social Media Technology were all on hand to help promote and contribute to an incredible event.

Planning an event requires many intricate details. Months sometimes years goes into the planning process. The first step to planning an event is determining its purpose, whether it is for a wedding, company, festivalgraduation or any other event requiring extensive planning.

From this, the event planner needs to choose entertainment, location, guest list, speakers, and content. The location for events is endless, but with event planning they would likely be held at hotels, convention centers, reception halls, or outdoors depending on the event. Once the location is set the coordinator/planner needs to prepare the event with staff, set up the entertainment, and keep contact with the client.

After all this is set the event planner has all the smaller details to address like set up of the event such as fooddrinksmusic, guest list, budgetadvertising and marketing, decorations, all this preparation is what is needed for an event to run smoothly.

An event planner needs to be able to manage their time wisely for the event, and the length of preparation needed for each event so it is a success. Event planning includesbudgeting, establishing dates and alternate dates, selecting and reserving the event site, acquiring permits, and coordinating transportation and parking

I have been a business owner for over 25 years but can say for the first time; “I own my business it doesn’t own me.” I have traded in my Brick and Mortar for a Click and Order. This gives me financial and time freedom. My business is operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week with no employees. I wake up when I am done sleeping and am able to work anywhere in the world there is a WiFi connection.
