Everyday you get the opportunity to change your outcome. Start the day off with a phrase, a word, a photo of something that speaks volumes to you. Something that will put you in a positive place no matter what lies ahead of you that day. Make today the beginning of your new journey. The best place to start is with writing out your goals. Set your goals in the future. You will need an action plan in order to achieve your goals. Map them out, step by step what will you have to do to get there. Next you must write them down and read them on a daily basis until you are living them.
Writing your goals out is the most important step because it makes them real. A study was once done by Mark McCormack on Harvard graduates. He spoke to the graduates on the purpose of writing your goals. When surveyed:
83% of graduates had no goals
14% had goals, but not in writing
The remaining 3% had written goals —
10 Years after graduation the group was resurveyed. The results were astounding. The 3% that had written goals were earning 10 times more than the group with no goals. Even the 14% whose goals were not in writing were earning 3 times as much as those graduates who had no goals at all. My question is what group do you want to fall in? I think it is pretty clear.
Lets start with writing your goals in 50-to-100 words and reading them twice a day. Here is an example:
“It is December 31, 20 __, I have no credit card debt and I am living on the coast of the Carolinas in a 5000-square foot brick home. I am driving a Porsche, vacationing four months out of the year. My marriage is happier without financial pressure. My family and I spend more quality time together and pursue interests we all enjoy”.
Add Your “Plan of Action” next. How are you getting there. I am attending _____ hours of training. I am retailing $_____ of products and showing ______ number of plans a week. Adding ____ new prospects to my list weekly. Without action there will be no results. {Remember the 80-20 rule} When you talk to 10 people 2 will be interested.
1.What You Want – Is easy these are the things we are always thinking about but are always just to far out of reach.
2.When You Want It – You must be realistic about your time. Nothing happens overnight. You will have to put some sweat equity into it if it is really that important. You also do not want to be disappointed when you are not accomplished something in 10 days that may have required 10 months.
3.What You Will Give Up Or Overcome – This is the most important step and the one most often overlooked. Going after something you really want will take some sacrifice of your time. Your family and friends may or may not understand why you are not able to spend time watching TV or going for cocktails but you have to stay focused it will all be worth it in the end. Having a strong WHY will help you get through some difficult days. There may come a point that you are being pulled in another direction let your WHY guide you.
I love this video but of course believe we have many tools at our finger tips so you do not have to invest in a Tony Robbins package. Go to your Getting Started Guide and turn to the page on goals. This will help you get started.

It is Feb 13, 2013 I selected this day because it is 16 years ago I lost my mentor, friend and father. I look ahead with determination for whatever it is I want to achieve I can, whatever it is I want to change I will. I thank him for all he has given us and even now I hear him clearly no whining, bit first, bit hard and don’t let go. Tony and I have reached supervising coordinator and we are attracting professional entrepreneurs that are interested in building a business utilizing the internet. We have collaborated with Dennis and Brian to complete the Internet overview and workshop training for the MA field. We are proud and honored they recognize our passion. We have traveled up and down the east coast assisting many MA distributors along the way our team is plugging into our training’s as we visit towns near by them. We have just completed world conference and have had the most attendance from mybvteam since inception. We have achieved our 6 president’s challenge but this one was special because we had 2 of our team on stage with us. What an honor to sit on the floor along side them. Our team of health professionals run by Dr Anis has grown by 5 more practices. He is doing weekly health seminars changing the health of so many. After his nutrametrix training he has discovered that MA NMTSS is the path he would like to pursue. Our team in North Carolina has attended Nutrametrix training and have successfully implemented into several offices. The momentum within our team is electric. Our family is all doing well. They continue to support our goals. TJ has found a job and stays busy with the gym, bowling and bingo. As I sit here listening to the palms blow in the breeze and I smell the sweet smell of salt water I think of all I have and truly I feel blessed but it is when I help someone truly understand they are worth it, they can achieve it, they deserve to be happy, that is when I feel like I have it all.
As I said to JR and Loren at the gala we are in for the next 20 and JR replied back “NO you are lifers” I agree! We love what we do and we will continue to tweak our system everyday so that it stays fresh and fun. Tony and I are getting ready to celebrate our 24th anniversary due to the blessings of MA training’s we have traveled quite a bit these last 6 months so a quite weekend at St Pete Beach sounds good.
